This Privacy Policy explains how ALVIANO UG (haftungsbeschränkt), operating as ALVIANOshop, handles personal data in connection with this website and our Pinterest publishing tool. 2. This website
This is a static informational website. We do not set cookies, run advertising trackers, or use analytics tools on it. When you visit, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical connection data (such as your IP address, browser type and time of access) in server logs for the purpose of delivering the site securely and reliably. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not combine this data with other sources or use it to identify you.
3. Our Pinterest publishing tool
ALVIANOshop operates an internal, single-operator automation tool that connects to the Pinterest API via OAuth 2.0 in order to publish our own product pins to our own Pinterest business account (@ALVIANOshop). ALVIANOshop is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest.
- The tool acts only on the ALVIANOshop Pinterest account. It is not a multi-user product and is not made available to any third party.
- It does not access, collect, store or process data belonging to any other Pinterest user.
- Access tokens issued by Pinterest are stored locally and securely, used solely to publish and manage our own content, and never shared with third parties.
- If our Pinterest connection is disconnected or its access is revoked, we stop retrieving Pinterest data immediately and delete any stored Pinterest data within 30 days.
- We do not sell, resell, or redistribute Pinterest content or any Pinterest-derived data.
- Our use of the Pinterest API complies with the Pinterest Developer Guidelines and the Pinterest Developer & API Terms of Service.
4. Purchases and customer data
We do not sell directly through this website. All orders are placed through our Etsy shop, and production and shipping are handled by our print partner. Any personal data you provide when ordering (such as your name, address and payment details) is processed by Etsy and our fulfilment partner under their own privacy policies. We receive only the information necessary to fulfil and ship your order.
5. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by applicable tax and commercial law. Server log data is retained only for a short period for security purposes and then deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data and to request its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at store.admin@alviano.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
